2011 North Alabama Scottish Festival

"The Scots are coming to Scottsboro in 2011"

The 2011 North Alabama Highland Festival and Scottish Games will be held on October 1st, and will again be held on the beautiful grounds of Goose Pond Colony located in Scottsboro, Alabama. So start planning now and join us for more fun and entertainment, but now in the beautiful, North Alabama fall weather. We are pleased to have great local Alabama talent performing for us this year, as well as returning favorite, Colin Grant Adams. Hooley, Abby Green, and Richard Van Valkenburgh will be performing onstage at the Amphitheater. The Irish Dancers will be performing with Hooley.

This year we will have programs and special commemorative t-shirts on sale as reminders of your day spent with us next to beautiful Lake Guntersville. The North Alabama Pipe and Drum Band will be playing throughout the day and will open our Festival Ceremony at 11:30am on Clan Row.

Admission for the games is Adults $7.00 and Children (6-12) $3.00.
